We were delighted to take part in the York Arts & Health Mela, a vibrant, family-friendly festival celebrating diversity, creativity, and wellbeing. The Mela brings together music, dance, food, crafts, and health awareness in a joyful community atmosphere—and we were proud to be part of it.
At our Sweet Legacies stand, we offered a range of creative, hands-on activities for families. Visitors could step inside our sensory tent, explore our factory character design sheets, enjoy chocolate-scented stickers, and get imaginative with Sweet Legacies colouring sheets.
We loved connecting with so many people—sharing stories about the Rowntree legacy in York, and inviting the community to get involved in celebrating this rich history. It was a fantastic opportunity to spark curiosity, creativity, and conversations around the themes of heritage, wellbeing, and community.
