MEET OTHER WOMEN AND SPREAD YOUR WINGS.
A monthly drama group for women who would benefit from a supportive and creative place to be.
A continuation of our work with leading women’s charities in York, we are providing a regular place for women to meet and step forward on their creative journey. We will use drama games and techniques to support women to discover confidence through creativity. Sessions will be led by Lydia Crosland, Community Connector at YTR and Becky Lennon, Co-Artistic Director of Thunk-It Theatre.
Lydia and Becky previously collaborated on The Stories You Want To Tell project with Kyra Women’s Project. The Stories You Want To Tell invited women to tell stories that mattered to them and culminated with a short film. Lydia and Becky are excited to meet more women and spread our wings together.
The sessions are completely free and open to women who would benefit from a more relaxed and supportive environment, with a focus on having fun and meeting others.
