York Literature Festival is delighted to partner with Pen to Paper for a two and a half hour showcase co-ordinated by Lizzi Linklater
The evening will consist of performances from 14 local writers across various genres and forms, with a musical interval midway through. This will be a vigorous, atmospheric and diverse celebration of the written and spoken word.
Pen to Paper (P2P) is a long-running local writers’ group set up by Lizzi Linklater in 2007. P2P have often performed events, both at York Literature Festival and elsewhere. An edited anthology, curated by Linklater, was published by Lendal Press in 2022. The collective is composed of 16 writers: novelists, short story writers, life-writers, scriptwriters and poets. Join us for a rich evening of performances of varied styles and forms to celebrate the written and spoken word.
