A showcase of two musicals, Shadows and Plodding Along, performed by student companies for TakeOver Festival 2026.
A forbidden love story between Doris and Daphne, two showgirls who get manipulated by ringleader Edward, who runs The Strange Exchange nightclub in London’s Soho. The girls later meet Fannie, Edith and Florence, “The Starletts” who later explain that they have fallen for his trap and that all is not what it seems. A musical by Shadows of Pride, a TakeOver Festival student company.
