Access

Join poet & children’s author Olivia Mulligan for a family friendly poetry workshop.

Expect a welcoming, fun and playful session. Suitable for 4-10-year-olds, parents can join in too! Accompanying adults will need their own ticket for this event.

Olivia Mulligan, or Liv as she is known, was born and bred in North Yorkshire. After spending several years in London, completing a degree in Drama and Creative Writing, and a short spell working in the city, she could no longer resist the call of the Yorkshire Dales and so returned to her roots.

Liv is a keen cross-country runner, a coffee barista and poet. Her spoken word poem, ‘The Lockdown Chat’ was aired at the 2020 BBC Upload Festival in the Writers’ Tent. Her collections Poems on the Gate Post, Advice From a Stranger and 10:37 are available from Fisher King Publisher, as well as her children’s book series Reggie from the Hedgie, published in 2024.

Please Note: This event is at York Explore, Library Square, Museum St, York, YO1 7DS
