As one of the oldest and most respected Arts organisations in the country we are going all out to be bold and ambitious – innovating with our own produced work, commissioning some of the best dance companies in the country and by giving a warm welcome to an exciting range of touring productions.
This all sits alongside our longstanding commitment to our community. Through our Creative Engagement work and with partners across the city, we offer an increasingly wide and diverse range of projects and activities. From early years dance workshops, Youth Theatre and partner schools projects, to community focused drama led sessions and tours and talks, the scope and impact of our reach is impressive.
Our staff, audiences, participants and visitors are at the very heart of everything we do. We are a theatre that works with and for our wider community on a local, national and international scale.
