Discovering a wider world through story
CRAFTY TALES is a weekly crafting and storytelling session run by professional theatre makers; Cassie and Janet of Story Craft Theatre.
Each session starts with big hellos, warm-up games and songs, followed by crafting altogether and then into the interactive storytelling. Watch your little one’s confidence, language and social skills grow, week by week, as they discover a wider world through story.
Aimed at 2-5 year olds, running Friday mornings during term time.
Leaps & Bounds
Dance for toddlers and their grownups
A fun and friendly introduction to dancing led by York Dance Space. Explore moving together using a variety of dance styles, stories, creative play and imagination. You will need to wear comfy clothes to move in, bring a water bottle, we encourage people to dance in bare feet although socks are fine too but may be slippy.
Sessions cost £6 each, or if you book the whole term at one time, it’s £5.50 each.
Please note sessions now take place in the Upper Foyer at York Theatre Royal.
It is aimed at toddlers, and each child taking part needs a ticket. Babes in arms who are siblings are welcome free of charge. Buggies can be left in the YTR foyer.
