Donation optionsCreating a beautiful Patio Garden accessible to all
Exciting plans are underway to redesign the patio area into an accessible, attractive, multi functional space for our community, theatre audiences and customers to enjoy.
The current patio area at York Theatre Royal is tired and under utilised and can only be accessed by steps. Transformational plans include a wheelchair ramp, giving access for wheelchair users and buggies.
The new design will create a multi functional area, including a performance space with staging and lighting, as well as creating additional seating for the theatre café. It will be an attractive, family friendly space, usable all year round.
