Ebor Singers

For this performance, York Musical Society (YMS) is joined by its partner choir from Münster, York’s twin city in Germany. YMS and Philharmonischer Chor Münster have performed together many times, in both cities, since the first shared event in 1993.

The combined choir, soloists and orchestra will be conducted by David Pipe.

YMS celebrates its 150th anniversary in 2026. A 32-page booklet telling the choir’s story, ‘150 Years of Choral Singing: York Musical Society 1876 to 2026’ is available at the concert and via the YMS website.
