Youth Theatre
Your Journey Starts Here
Starting from as young as 5 years old, right up to 19, Youth Theatre offers over 300 children and young people the opportunity to get great drama training from professional theatre practitioners and artists every week.

Creativity in education
Through our partnerships with local schools, involvement in national programmes with the National Theatre and Royal Shakespeare Company, as well as exciting project collaborations, there are many ways we engage with school children in our communities to help them harness their creativity.
Pre-school
Fun activities all year round
We have fun and creative activities year-round for little ones, including our popular weekly weekly crafting and storytelling session – Crafty Tales – for 2-5 year olds, and Leaps & Bounds, a fun and friendly introduction to dancing for toddlers led by York Dance Space.
Holiday Activities
Creative fun in the holidays
Looking to keep the kids entertained when school's out? We offer regular creative activities for children and young people in the holidays, from one-off workshops to our week-long 'Play in a Week'.
