Spotlight On The Coppergate Woman Costume Makers

With a cast of made up of dozens of local people, all leading their own busy lives alongside the production, designing, making and fitting costumes for The Coppergate Woman was always going to be a mammoth task. Fortunately, YTR is blessed with the immensely talented duo, Hazel Jupp, Head of Wardrobe, and Janet Hull, Deputy Wardrobe Supervisor, who together with the generous help of more than 25 volunteers, have brought the play to life with an exquisite range of costumes.

The Coppergate Woman is on from 30 Jul – 07 Aug. Come and see the costumes in action, and don’t forget to pick up a programme for just £4 for lots more behind-the-scenes info, including a little extra on the costume making process.
