A View from the Bridge Photo Competition

Ahead of our major new production of Arthur Miller’s A View from the Bridge, we want you to send in your photos on the brief of: a view from a bridge. The photographers of the three best photos submitted will win two tickets to the opening night of A View from the Bridge on Friday 20 September.

Our knowledgeable judges are John Saunders (Chair of the York Theatre Royal Photography Group), Karen Boyes (York Press Camera Club) and Alison Taylor (President of York Photographic Society). They’ll be looking for creativity and vibrancy so be sure to think outside the box – or lens (for instance, your photo could be taken from the bridge of a ship!)

To enter, submit you view from the bridge photo by email or WeTransfer to marketing@yorktheatreroyal.co.uk with the subject header ‘A View from the Bridge Photo Competition’. Make sure your name and location of the photo is included in the title of your photo! Deadline for entries is midnight on Thursday 29 August.

Winners will be announced on Thursday 5 September. The photographers of the three best photos submitted will win two tickets each to the opening night of A View from the Bridge on Friday 20 September at 7.30pm.

To enter, you must have taken the photography yourself and own the copyright to your photograph. By submitting a photo you grant York Theatre Royal permission to publish your photo on our social media channels and website – this does not affect any other rights. Photographs submitted after the deadline has passed will not be accepted.
