Expand your dramatic experience
Our Adult Theatre Workshop courses are the perfect way to learn new skills, expand your dramatic experience and build confidence on stage. Taught by professional actors Niall Costigan and Cassie Vallance, with extensive experience of stage and screen, these courses offer a relaxed environment to learn through practical experience.
Mondays 16 September – 25 November (not including 28 October) 7.30 – 9pm
16 places per session
£12 per session or £100 for the full Autumn term
Over 65s Masterclasses
If you’re aged 65+ (or nearly there) and interested in theatre, then our masterclasses are the perfect way to learn more about making theatre happen. Led by directors and members of our creative teams, you can delve into everything from rehearsal techniques to set and costume designs and find out how the magic happens.
We are excited about working with members of our community to explore theatre making skills, interrogate production choices and share experience and ideas of making our own produced work. If this sounds like your cup of tea keep an eye on this page for our upcoming workshops.
Free Monthly Wellbeing Sessions
Creating Together are free monthly sessions led by Displace Yourself Theatre aimed at bringing people together to develop creative skills, boost confidence and improve wellbeing. They are particularly suitable for anyone with experience, or at risk of homelessness, as well as refugees and asylum seekers and people with mental health support needs. No experience is necessary and support will be provided for non-English speakers. Free lunch and refreshments will be provided at every session
The group meets on the 2nd Monday in the month, from 10.30am – 2pm in Workshop 2 in De Grey Rooms (opposite the Art Gallery).
