Sharing a passion for theatre

The Friends of York Theatre Royal are a long-standing group of enthusiastic theatre-lovers who share a passion for the arts, meet socially and support our work by raising money for the theatre and volunteering.

When you join the Friends you’ll get to meet new people and access lots of social events – from theatre visits, to day trips to places of interest across the region, monthly lunches, relaxing activities, and weekly ‘Coffee, Chat & Craft Club’.

The Friends are always looking for new faces to join the group, take part in their events and activities, and bring fresh ideas to support the theatre.
