Make Space is a festival that aims to encourage teenage girls to engage in public spaces, try new things, meet new people and have fun. Events are free to attend and include sports and exercise, arts and crafts, performing arts, creative writing, nature crafts, wellbeing sessions, photography and more.
Over the weekend of 14th and 15th June 2025, the Sweet Legacies team attended the Rowntree Park Make Space Festival and offered drop in arts activities, themed on togetherness, standing up for what you believe in, and pride.
