Carecent is a breakfast centre serving homeless, unemployed, and socially excluded members of the community. We provide food, clothing, and fellowship in a welcoming, non-judgemental environment. Our dedicated volunteer staff are always ready to listen and offer support and advice. When appropriate, Carecent works alongside other agencies to help individuals move toward an improved lifestyle.
Night Light Theatre CIC delivers arts-for-wellbeing programmes and creates theatre with and for hard-to-reach audiences across the North of England, including forensic mental health settings, prisons, hospitals, pupil referral units, rehabilitation centres, and community spaces. Co-production and collaboration are central to our work.
York Theatre Royal has loved working with both organisations to bring some Sweet Legacies sparkle to their current projects. Their wonderful drama group has collaborated with a writer and musical director to create an original performance.
