Main Stage Summer
New for 2026!
Whether they love being in the spotlight, are curious about what happens behind the scenes, or are simply looking for a fun and creative way to spend their summer, our Youth Theatre Summer Holiday Production is perfect for young people aged 8 to 19.
Participants will get to work on our Wendy and Peter Pan, our first Main House Youth Theatre Prodcution since 2019.

She loved the story of Wind in the Willows when she was younger, so she had definitely been looking forward to this. We thought the performance was fantastic on Friday; the young people had obviously worked really hard, but looked like they had a lot of fun too.”
Holiday workshops with City of York Council
Holiday activity & Food Programme
During certain school holidays we partner with the City of York Council to deliver Holiday activity & Food Programme (HAF) workshops for children accessing free school meals. We deliver creative days where we explore different art forms, share a healthy lunch and use creativity to express ourselves. We partner with different artists, organisations and settings to offer a programme that enables each young person to thrive and realise their creative potential.
