Running Time

Step into the Roaring Twenties where murders are daily news, and Chicago jazz clubs are your regular hang outs.

When Roxie Hart murders her faithless lover in a moment of anger, her life is thrown upside down as she finds herself in jail on death row. In the Cook County Jail, Roxie meets famed
double-murderess Velma Kelly, who soon becomes her rival for the spotlight and the news headlines!

With the help of Matron “Mama” Morton and the infamous attorney Billy Flynn, the women find themselves ultimately joining forces in search of the “American Dream”- fame, fortune, and acquittal.

Based on a 1920s play about actual criminals, this sharp-edged satire is one of America’s longest-running Broadway musicals, featuring a dazzling score by John Kander and smash-hit songs; All That Jazz, Razzle Dazzle, When You’re Good to Mama and Cell Block Tango.

This amateur production of Chicago is presented by special arrangement with Samuel French Ltd, a Concord Theatricals Company.
