A walk through the history of the Mystery Plays
YorkWalk will be offering walks following the sites the Mystery Plays have visited over the last 800 years or more. Walks start by visiting the set of the 2012 production (and the site for productions from 1951- 1988) which uses St Mary’s Abbey as a backdrop. Then focus turns to the medieval plays to discover how they were produced, following their exact route.
