An excellent review for York Settelement Players Studio Show, Breathing Corpses is a 'chilling, circular human drama' which plays here until 16th March. Don't miss it!

Four Star Review for Breathing Corpses. In the hands of York Settlement Community Players, Laura Wade’s dark and intriguing puzzle Breathing Corpses turns like clockwork.
Amy finds yet another corpse in a hotel room. Jim is growing suspicious of the smell coming from one of his storage units. And Kate discovers a female body whilst walking the dog...
Breathing Corpses is a murderous jigsaw puzzle of death, despair and domestic violence. Set against the backdrop of mundane modern existence, events unfold out of sequence, infused with a rich undertone of the blackest of black humour in the grimmest of circumstances.
Playwright Laura Wade, who grew up in Sheffield, won the Critics' Circle Theatre Award for Most Promising Playwright, 2005, the Pearson Playwrights Best Play Award and George Devine Award. Breathing Corpses was also nominated for an Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in an Affiliate Theatre, 2006.
York Settlement Community Players proudly present the first ever production of Breathing Corpses to be staged in York.
