The Faculty of Arts at York St John University, in collaboration with York Theatre Royal, is seeking applications from those interested in pursuing an AHRC funded practice based PhD research project on storytelling and adolescence. This practice-based studentship will explore storytelling with and for adolescent participants. It sets out to develop and evaluate practice that utilises storytelling as an empowering medium through which young people can take control of actively constructing their sense of self and their place in the world and their community.
