We offer holiday activities throughout the year, from one-off workshops to our ever popular Play in a Week projects. Young people have the opportunity to work with professional theatre practitioners, learn theatre skills, make friends and have fun!
May Workshop - Shadow Stories
Come and create and perform an enchanting story through the art of shadow storytelling! Participants will play games, make and learn to use their own shadow puppets and experiment with percussion to create a short showing, which will be performed to family at the end of the session.
Age: 5 – 7
Date: Tuesday 28th May, 10am – 12.30pm

May Play in a Day – The Myths of Mother Shipton
Come along and create a performance about the myths and legends that surround Mother Shipton, a local soothsayer from the fifteenth century! This is an exciting opportunity for 11 - 14 year olds to increase their theatre skills and experience a professional theatre environment, make new friends and have plenty of fun. The myths of Mother Shipton will be performed at the end of the day for parents.

The Legend of King Arthur - Knight School
Have you got what it takes to become a knight of Camelot? Come and test your skills, wits and agility at knight school. Complete King Arthur’s challenges to earn a place at his round table. In this one hour workshop you’ll learn about the knights of Camelot, play games, meet new people and have lots of fun. Oh, and you might get knighted too...
Ages: 7 – 11
Times: Tuesdays – Saturdays during the run of The Legend of King Arthur, 12 noon – 1pm each day.
Cost: £5
Meeting place: Main foyer

The Legend of King Arthur - Heraldry Workshop
Create your very own coat of arms! Come to Arthur’s armoury and discover the secrets behind the symbols. Find out about the pictures that illustrate your family name, or invent your own, and make a stunning shield to take away with you at the end.
Ages: Suitable for all the family
Times: The armoury is open from 11.30am – 1.30pm Tuesdays – Saturdays during the run of The Legend of King Arthur.
Cost: £4
Meeting place: Keregan Room. Follow the signs to the armoury from the main foyer.
