'Doubt' performance rescheduled

York Theatre Royal regrets to announce that the sold-out performance of Doubt in the Studio on Sat 3 Dec, has had to be cancelled.

Katie Turner, the actress who plays Sister James in the Clap Trap Theatre production, was hospitalised by a car accident this week and will not be well enough to take to the stage by next weekend.

York Theatre Royal and Clap Trap Theatre have rescheduled the hotly anticipated play for Mon 16 Apr 2012. Anyone with tickets for next weekends performance will be given the option to have their ticket transferred to the rescheduled date or to receive a full refund.

York Theatre Royal box office staff will be contacting all those affected as soon as possible and we hope that the majority of ticket holders will still be able to enjoy the performance, albeit at a later date.
