York Theatre Royal’s hit production returns to The National Railway Museum this Summer for a second year, after a sell out run in 2008 and magical reviews.

Join Bobby, Peter and Phyllis as they tell the story of how they became The Railway Children. One of the country’s best loved novels comes to life using a unique theatre setting in the Museum that allows the audience to sit on station platforms either side of a real rail track. Featuring the Stirling Single, a beautiful 60 tonne steam locomotive in one of the most breath taking theatrical events York has ever seen.
