The most powerful book of spells ever written falls to earth from outer space. Warlock, an evil, alien sorcerer is dispatched to find the book and use its contents to destroy Planet Earth. Sinbad ( a poor old washerwoman's adopted son), armed only with an amulet and a Blue Peter badge for swimming the river Nile with one arm tied behind his back, sets off on his greatest comic adventure to save our world from the evil clutches of Warlock.
Expect breathtaking sets and costumes, expect slapstick and belly laughs galore, but above all - expect the unexpected and you won't be disappointed!
So come along and join in with what has become one of York's most treasured possessions, attracting nearly 50,000 people every year - the York Theatre Royal pantomime. Christmas just wouldn't be the same without it, so don't miss it.
